Hi John -

We recently sent you an email asking for you to sign our petition calling on Congress to PASS the Equality Act - but it looks like we’re missing your signature still.

Remember: State legislatures introduced a record number of anti-LGBTQ+ bills last year in an effort to undo years of progress.

That’s why we urgently need to build grassroots support for the Equality Act. Can we count on you to sign our petition now?

- FWD MESSAGE -

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH

We’re proud to support our LGBT+ leaders and allies across California!

But this Pride Month feels a little different: the GOP has been introducing a record number of bills that directly target the LGBT+ community, trying to roll back newfound freedoms:

Legislation targeting LGBTQ+ rights more than doubled since last year
Number of anti-LGBTQ bills introduced in state legislatures each session

Luckily, there’s a solution to stop this: Congress can PASS the Equality Act, which would BLOCK these bills from being passed and federally protect LGBT+ rights.

SO, John: we’re launching an emergency petition to gather 5,000 signatures and demand the Senate PASS the Equality Act, so we can protect LGBT+ rights.
