Hey,

When President Trump was elected, he promised to stand with American workers and defend Social Security. But his track record has proven otherwise.

His last budget proposal called for cutting $26 billion from Social Security programs, including a $10 billion cut to the Social Security Disability Insurance program. Now, Trump says he is again open to making cuts to Social Security, all to pay for the GOP tax scam that left American workers behind.

John, instead of breaking our promise to seniors and future generations, I believe we should advance forward-looking reforms that strengthen Social Security and ensure all Americans can retire with economic security.

Our country made a promise to American workers that if you work hard, you deserve the right to retire with dignity. Add your name to join us in the fight to protect Social Security right now.

Choosing between protecting earned benefits and a lower deficit is a false choice created by politicians who would rather take the easy way out than stand with American families.

There is no reason why American workers should be forced to pay for politicians' mistakes. Instead, we should take common sense steps like lifting the income contribution cap on the wealthiest Americans.

Improvements like these are how we can boost seniors' benefits and ensure their cost-of-living adjustments reflect rising costs like housing and prescription drug prices.

I will always stand with Washington's workers, so please, add your name to our petition to help fight back against Trump's latest promise to cut Social Security.
