Hi Friend,
Austin Killips, a male athlete who identifies as female, is making headlines and taking women’s victories.
[link removed]
Last week, Killips ‘won’ the Belgian Waffle Ride in North Carolina. Killips finished five minutes ahead of runner up (and true champion) Paige Onweller, who promptly declared that Killips’ power was “not comparable.”

Female cyclists like Onweller, Chloé Dygert, and now retired Hannah Arensman, who abandoned her Olympic dream after being shoved ([link removed]) by Killips and flanked on either side by male riders awarded 3rd and 5th places in the women’s 2022 National Cyclocross Championships, are competing for top spots, yet the cycling governing bodies who make the rules — the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and USA Cycling — have allowed male athletes to compete, which inevitably puts female cyclists at a disadvantage.

This has all gone too far.
DON’T LET WOMEN CYCLISTS BE UNSEATED!
Petition UCI and USA Cycling to protect female athletes from discrimination, and establish rules to keep women’s races female!
SIGN THE PETITION ([link removed])
UCI and USA Cycling are turning a blind eye to blatant facts, fairness, and common sense. Men and women have distinct biological differences that affect athletic performance, and the results of the races where men are competing with and against women merely emphasize and prove this.

Stories like Killips’ is just one in a growing category of female athletic competitors having their wins stolen from them by biological men. If this is allowed to continue, we will lose women’s sports as we know it.
KEEP WOMEN’S CYCLING FEMALE ([link removed])
We all know that competitive sport is a zero-sum game where some athletes make the cut, and others do not; someone wins, and others lose. In a zero-sum competition, the inclusion of male athletes in women’s sport inevitably means that females lose out.

Killips is expected to compete in the USA Cycling Women’s Championships June 22-June 25 in Knoxville, TN, during National Women’s Sports Week.

We need your help to reach 50,000 signatures on this new petition to UCI and USA Cycling before the races begin.

Don’t let another woman cyclist be unseated! Sign your name to the petition and then share it with five friends to keep women’s cycling FEMALE! ([link removed])

Yours in the fight,
Victoria
