John — I wanted to follow up on Felicia's message from a few days ago, because we're coming right down to the wire on our primary. Now is when grassroots donations really make a difference.
Truly, every dollar raised right now can help us get the word out to five more voters about Hala. And Tuesday's primary election could come down to merely hundreds (or fewer!) of votes.
Something pretty remarkable happened last week, John: we were seeing so much enthusiasm on the ground and getting so many requests for information about Hala that we ran out of campaign literature pieces and needed to put in a whole new order!
Luckily, we had the resources on hand to do this. But this incident was a good reminder that in the final stretch of an election, it's always best to be prepared for the unexpected.
Every dollar raised allows us to print five pieces of campaign literature — each of which winds up with a prospective voter. So if we raise $500 today, we'll be able to get 2,500 voters information about Hala's record and policy priorities.
We're fully expecting next week's primary to be close, John, and the final margin could well be within hundreds of votes (or even less).
We cannot afford to leave any stone unturned as we count down to Primary Day — that means going full throttle with our final outreach.
