Despite what pundits and pollsters say, there’s no such thing as a “safe seat.”

In fact, thinking that way is a fast track to defeat in 2024.

That’s because the second we assume any particular outcome is guaranteed, we get complacent. We ignore the obvious warning signs that something is wrong until it’s too late to turn things around.

Trust me, folks: Back in 2018, I ran against an incumbent who thought he was invincible. (Spoiler alert: He lost.)

So while pundits might say that IL-06 “leans Democratic,” we can’t afford to fall into this trap when the stakes are so high.

My team and I are going to work just as hard, and be just as resourceful, as we did when we flipped this district five years ago. And that brings me to you:
