John, I’m sickened.
Since I joined Bernie Sanders at a rally to raise the minimum wage for working families, far-right lunatics have been spewing hateful, racist comments across right-wing platforms to smear my name.
I’m just fighting to put the power into the hands of the people. But it's awful to see my identity has become the target for such despicable attacks.
John, we can’t let right-wing extremists use hateful rhetoric to distract us from actually fighting for progressive policies. That’s why I need you to be one of 64 people to step up to send an electrifying response, proving that hate will NEVER derail our movement.
We need to raise $2,500 by MIDNIGHT to show that these hateful attacks won’t stop us from fighting for our community across NC. Will you be one of the 64 people I need to donate $27 and show the right-wing we won’t back down? >>
John, this isn’t the first time I’ve faced hateful comments and attacks against my identity.
My identity, my religion, and my status have been questioned on a daily basis since I began my political career.
But even against Islamophobia and sexism, I’m fighting tooth and nail for working families to live in a safe and secure environment. Now I just need your help to prove that the far-right’s hate won’t supersede our strong movement.
John, can you please donate $27 to help us raise $2,500 and prove that right-wing hatred will NOT dim the light on our movement for a brighter future? >>
Counting on you,
Nida Allam
