Last week, Save The Waves hosted its first ever, inaugural Coalition Summit in Northern California to help celebrate our 20th Anniversary.

It was an amazing opportunity to catch up with global friends and partners - some we’ve only met through Zoom or haven't seen these past few years - and chart the course to protect 1,000 surf ecosystems TOGETHER.

We are so grateful to work with such amazing people - from Chile, Brazil, Portugal, Mexico, Azores, Costa Rica, Australia, Indonesia, Maldives, Fiji, Peru, the United Kingdom and across the United States. 

So, on this International Surfing Day, we celebrate 3 things: 

  1. The Coalition
  2. Saving waves through collaboration
  3. The joy of surfing
