Hey John,

Laura has dedicated her career in public service to fighting for Kansas' education system. While in the Senate, Laura fought to ensure every child in Kansas had access to strong public schools, early childhood education programs and a safe child welfare system to keep children from falling through the cracks. And when she was elected governor, one of her first actions was to fulfill the state’s constitutional obligation to fully fund public schools, ending nearly a decade of ongoing litigation.

In 2019 we saw our state's education ranking jump seven spots nationally. In 2020, Laura is committed to continuing to invest in our schools, but we need to keep working together.

If you agree that education and the future of our children should remain on top of the Kansas legislature's priority list this year, add your name today.

Last year, when the state legislature passed Laura's education funding plan, lawmakers showed Kansans across the state that it is possible to work together for our students. But it's important we don't forget what we can accomplish together in 2020 and beyond -- from continuing to invest in our schools, investing in STEM programs and investing in post-secondary education and skills training opportunities.

Fighting for our students has always been Laura's top priority. And after eight years of failed leadership and slashed budgets -- Laura made sure to put our students first in her administration. We can continue to make sure Kansas has the best schools in the nation so our children can be ready for the jobs of the future. But to make it possible, we must continue working together to put our kids first.

If you agree, add your name today to join Laura in fighting for our children's futures.

Thank you,

Team Kelly
