For years, I’ve said we need to reassess our foreign policy decisions and finally end our “forever wars.” 

These never-ending wars weaken our national security and saddle future generations with skyrocketing debt while creating enemies around the world. 

The first step in fixing this problem is returning war-making powers back to Congress. 

If the president decides we need to go to war, he needs to come to Congress and ask for approval, just as the Constitution states.

I feel strongly about the prospect of going to war and sending our children into harm’s way, but I want your thoughts.
