As soon as he left the House floor yesterday, Adam Schiff sent out a fundraising email that attacked me by name.

He begged his left-wing donors for even more cash to help him “fight back” against my efforts to hold him accountable for his unethical behavior.

Schiff is TERRIFIED because he knows this battle isn’t over.

I’m coming for him next week – and I’ll make him pay for abusing his office to launch a fraudulent, political investigation to sabotage President Trump.

My Friend, I just left the House floor.

Moments ago, the MAGA Republican effort to censure and fine me $16 million for holding Donald Trump accountable and leading Trump's impeachment failed on a bipartisan vote.

I won't kid you, it wasn't pleasant listening to the clerk read this false and defamatory resolution before the whole Congress. But then the most incredible thing happened - almost one out of every ten Republicans voted against it. The MAGA resolution was too much even for them.

But I want you to know, this wasn't just an attack on me - it was an attack on our democracy and the institution of Congress and one fully supported by Speaker Kevin McCarthy. This debacle was just another example of how far MAGA GOP extremists will go to seek political retribution to avenge Trump's campaign. And though it failed, almost 200 MAGA Republicans went along with it.

But make no mistake: This wasn't the far-right's first attack against me, and it sure as hell won't be the last. They will do whatever it takes to deter me from holding Donald Trump and his accomplices accountable, and keep me from being elected to the Senate.

They'll continue going after me in the coming months to distract from Trump's legal peril, to gratify Trump and his base, and try to tear down someone they feel is his most effective adversary.

In fact, as I was walking off the floor, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna - a woman I've not met until today and couldn't have picked out of a lineup - let me know that she's filing another censure resolution next week, "and this one will pass."

They are not giving up. But I've got news for them, neither am I. I will continue defending our democracy against the twice-impeached, twice-indicted, ex- president and his lackeys.
