We just barely missed our mid-month fundraising goal. But, the good news is that if 8% of folks who open this email today each chip in $3 then we can make up for this shortfall.

Look, we don’t have tens of millions of dollars in the bank like the Democratic establishment. The DCCC raised $37 million in the first quarter of the year — that is a whole lotta money to protect entrenched incumbents from progressive primary challengers.

Even if we miss a fundraising goal we’ll never try to scare you into donating. We’re not going to send you any terrifying, DCCC-style “the sky is falling” emails. There is no reason to kiss all hope goodbye. And we don’t have any generous donors to QUADRUPLE MATCH your donation.

But, we will politely ask you to contribute if you can afford it, so we can keep our work going and keep providing critical organizing help and other campaign services to our Justice Democrats running for office.
