Before we break for the weekend, I'm reaching out to respectfully ask you to make a
$3 contribution to my campaign to flip CA-27 from red to blue.
Here are a few reasons why:
- In just this past week, my opponent Mike Garcia has given us plenty of reasons why unseating him is so urgent. On Wednesday, Garcia joined with MAGA Republicans and voted to censure Rep. Adam Schiff as a way to distract from Trump's indictment. A day later, Garcia approved a bill in the Appropriations Committee that would block access to a safe and effective medication used in over half of U.S. abortions.
- Elections analysts are all calling CA-27 a “toss-up” headed into 2024. Democrats need to flip five seats to retake the majority, which means winning here could determine whether or not we strip House control from Kevin McCarthy and his MAGA allies.
- At the end of this month, we’ll file a fundraising report with the FEC showing how much we raised and how many individual donors have chipped in to this campaign. After our report is filed, our numbers will go public. It's important that we show a large number of donations to send a message about the strength behind this movement.
