We’re in a bit of a pickle, John.

Last night, we came up short on our last fundraising goal before the FEC deadline two weeks from today.

That puts us in a bit of a pickle. If it’s an early sign of the so-called “summer slump,” it’s one we simply can’t afford this close to our deadline with the FEC.

Our fundraising goals have a real impact on our campaign. I’m going to be doing everything I can to help re-elect President Biden and Vice President Harris, but if we fall short of important goals like we did last night, it could mean cutting back on my travel schedule and ability to campaign for them and my Senate colleagues in battleground states.
