This Sunday is Father’s Day, a day to honor the crucial role that fathers play in a child's life. The role of a father is an important one – we have a responsibility to be protectors and providers, to be role models, to teach our sons to be men and teach our daughters what to look for in men, to teach life lessons, and to provide guidance, and pass on our values. It’s a job that can – and does – have a profound impact on a child's development.

Being a father is one of the proudest honors of my life, and I am grateful for the responsibility and the challenge every day.
