This settlement will bring $371.8 million to communities across the state
As you know, Bob has been taking on corporations that violated the law and fueled the opioid epidemic. He just announced four more victories against CVS, Walgreens, Teva, and Allergan.
Thanks to Bob’s work, Washington state will receive an additional $371.8 million to fight the opioid epidemic. Bob’s lawsuits against corporations that violated the law and fueled the opioid crisis now totals more than $1.1 billion. Bob made sure that these settlements require that every dollar must go toward treatment and helping individuals and communities harmed by this crisis across the state.
Bob has a long history of standing up to those fueling this epidemic. Last year, he rejected a national settlement that most Attorneys General signed and took Purdue Pharma, the Sackler family, and opioid distributors to court — and won.
Thanks to Bob's work, more than $1.1 billion is going towards:
- Improving and expanding treatments.
- Addressing the fentanyl crisis.
- Providing housing vouchers for individuals with substance abuse disorders.
- Supporting first responders.
- Working closely with tribal health programs to expand overdose education.
- And other strategies outlined in the state Opioid Response Plan.
And Bob isn't done yet. His team is working on additional cases.
As the only candidate in this race who does not accept donations from large corporations, Bob relies on grassroots supporters like you chipping in $15 or $25 at a time.
