Team,

A farmworker laboring in the Central Valley. A child playing in her front yard. A grandfather taking in a deep breath outside.

These Californians -- and all our families -- shouldn't be unknowingly exposed to toxic chemicals that are known to cause cancer.

That's why today we filed a court argument against Monsanto, the agricultural giant, in support of state laws requiring warnings for cancer-causing products.

It's a shame we have to go to court to fight for warnings on cancer-causing products -- but it's clear giant corporations like Monsanto will do whatever it takes to put profits ahead of the health of our families.

California law requires cancer-causing chemicals to be labeled. But Monsanto is now claiming in court that federal law preempts our enforcement. It does not.

Team, if you're with us and think corporations should be required to label their products, can you sign your name next to mine? Let's keep our families safe.

Add your name: Monsanto should follow the law and inform consumers about dangerous risks»

In California, we protect our residents from dangerous pesticides -- Monsanto and all corporations must follow the law.
