Fellow American,

I have an urgent request -- and since I know you care about our
nation's heroes, I wanted to reach out to you right away.

Jack Nakamura, a World War II veteran of the legendary 442nd
Regimental Combat Team, wants to share his story with the
American Veterans Center so we can preserve his legacy for the
next generation.

To film, produce, and release a documentary with this World War
II hero, the American Veterans Center must urgently raise $1,583.

Will you make a gift to this emergency fundraising campaign
right now? >>

Jack, who will celebrate his 100th birthday in February, is one
of the last surviving members of the all-Japanese-American 442nd
Regimental Combat Team.

In October 1944, the 442nd saved more than 200 American
soldiers of the "Lost Battalion" that had been cut off from
Allied communications and surrounded by Nazis in the mountains of
eastern France.

Today, Jack is one of the few remaining American heroes who can
tell this story from first-hand experience -- and I don't want to
miss the opportunity to preserve his lessons and experience.

Fellow American, because you're a strong supporter of America's
veterans, I'm hoping that I can count on your help for this
emergency request before the holiday season.

I hope to be in touch soon with updates about our interview
with Jack -- because YOUR support is what makes it possible.

-- James Roberts, American Veterans Center
