Disgusting: These 175 House Republicans endorsed a plan that would end Medicare as we know it and slash Social Security by hiking the retirement age:

These 175 Representatives are members of the Republican Study Committee, which this week released its budget.

If enacted, the RSC budget would:

• Raise the retirement age to 69

• End Medicare’s coverage guarantee, replacing it with a coupon

• Force disabled Americans to wait twice as long to qualify for Medicare

• Not ask for a single penny of additional taxes from the rich
