Friend, millions of children are on the move around the world. Some are forced to leave their homes because of conflict, violence or natural disasters. Others have left with their families in search of a better life. What they often have in common is that far too many children will experience dangerous situations while on the move.
But it doesn’t have to be this way — and UNICEF is working tirelessly to ensure that displaced children receive relief and protection:
- In the aftermath of devastating earthquakes in Syria and Turkey, teams are delivering critical humanitarian supplies to children who have lost their homes.
- As more and more children flee wars in Ukraine and Sudan, UNICEF is establishing Child-Friendly Spaces for children to play, receive care and reunite with family.
- With drought escalating in the Sahel and Horn of Africa, UNICEF is providing access to safe water, supplies and learning to children who have been displaced. As an integral member of our community, you can help sustain this work.

Friend, over the past decade, the global refugee population has more than doubled, with children making up almost half of all refugees.
As the number of children being displaced grows, so does our responsibility to help them.
With your gift ahead of World Refugee Day, you’ll be among the first to help rush supplies, nutrition treatment, sanitation, safe water and essential care to children.
