Congratulations to The University of Oklahoma's women’s softball team on their well-deserved College World Series win! Last Friday, Oklahoma Softball beat Florida State bringing their winning streak to 53 games. It’s truly awe-inspiring and a testament to the unwavering dedication and hard work exhibited by every member of the team, coaches, and staff. Moreover, I was deeply moved by the video of players Grace Lyons, Jayda Coleman, and Alyssa Brito expressing the importance of joy from the Lord and the significance of faith in the love of the game. This team’s faith, hard-work, and talent truly exemplify the Oklahoma Standard. The entire state is incredibly proud of you!

Check out my Weekly Wrap Up below where I highlight and congratulate OU Softball’s amazing success.

Yesterday, I served as ranking member for the Environment and Public Works (EPW) Subcommittee hearing on plastic use in America. While some on the far-left seek to end the use of all plastics under the guise of "environmental justice," I brought attention to the essential role plastics play in Americans’ everyday lives – including providing clean drinking water and ending our reliance on China who has far dirtier environmental practices. Despite the noise from radical climate activists, I believe that we truly can work together to ensure a clean environment and access to reliable energy that will help create a healthier future.

The entire Tulsa community is rallying behind 25-year-old Tulsa Firefighter Harrison Moseby as he battles a rare form of cancer. Thank you to all of the community members who have shown support for Harrison and his wife Mallory, both of whom have continued to see God's grace despite great health challenges. May God bless Harrison in his treatment, his loved ones, fellow first responders, and the Tulsa Fire Department.

On Wednesday, we celebrated the 26th anniversary of when I married my best friend. Christie is my motivator, my counselor, my inspiration, and she is the backbone of our family. Jim, Jayce, Andrew, Larra, Ivy, and Lynette couldn’t ask for a more loving and wonderful mother. Happy Anniversary!
