Friend – It's been one year since the Supreme Court's disastrous decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization gutted reproductive freedom across the country and overturned Roe v. Wade. Already, bans have eliminated all or some abortion access in 20 states. ACLU Supporter, we're still here, and we're rising up once more. On June 24, the anniversary of the Dobbs decision, we're joining Women's March to take to the streets.
We'll kick off with a special Know Your Rights training to make sure you have all the information you need to advocate for your rights, protect your privacy, and take care of yourself while protesting. After everyone has gathered together with allies like Planned Parenthood and NARAL, we'll join Women's March for a rally and then head to the Supreme Court. We know that anti-abortion extremists won't stop at overturning Roe, but we are the majority. We've already achieved monumental victories in state legislatures and at the ballot box – and we won't stop fighting until everyone has control over their bodies, their lives, and their futures. See you in the streets next weekend, ACLU Supporter. ACLU of the District of Columbia |
