The Washington Post
"A bipartisan plan to punish global climate laggards: Tax them"John,

We are already seeing the devastating effect of climate change all across our nation. Chris understands that climate change poses one of the greatest threats to our world.

That's why Chris just introduced the Providing Reliable, Objective, Verifiable Emissions Intensity and Transparency Act (PROVE IT Act).

This critical, bipartisan legislation will lay the groundwork for America’s first carbon border tariff. The PROVE IT Act would quantify the climate benefits of the United States’ investments in cleaner, more efficient manufacturing practices so we can hold nations like China accountable for their emissions-heavy production of goods.

This bill will be a BIG win for our climate, a win for American workers and manufacturers, and a win for global cooperation — but Chris needs to know if you support this legislation.

The PROVE IT Act is exactly the kind of legislation we need to tackle the climate crisis–if you support Chris's legislation to create a greener future, add your name today >> [link removed]
