Pride Month is all about celebrating the LGBTQI+ community—in TX-07 and across our country.

It’s also a reminder of the importance of fighting for the dignity and rights of all people and of how much we can accomplish when we work together for what’s right.  Our work together is especially important right now when our LGBTQI+ friends and neighbors are facing increased hostility and discrimination—especially at the state level.  

I’m doing all I can in Congress to advance civil rights and protections for LGBTQI+ Americans.  To bring about that change, there’s something else we need to do:

We need to win elections.

To win, we need friends and allies and organizations and campaigns working together in the ways they can to elect the leaders we can trust and who trust us.

That is why I am honored and proud to join the board of the Equality PAC this year.  Since its founding in 2014, the Equality PAC has supported LGBTQI+ candidates and allies and raised millions of dollars to support their campaigns.

This month, I ask you to join me in supporting the Equality PAC and its work to recruit and elect LGBTQI+ candidates and allies.

Every dollar raised goes toward supporting candidates who are committed to joining me in passing the Equality Act and ensuring full civil rights and protections for the LGBTQI+ community.

This Pride Month, I’m hoping you’ll make a contribution to the Equality PAC to support its important work.
