Dear Friend, 

Today, February 12th, marks ONE MONTH until the U.S. Census Bureau delivers a letter to your mailbox inviting your household to fill out the 2020 Census. Please, please keep reading because everyone’s participation is vital to ensuring all Arab Americans are counted on the 2020 Census. This count helps determine how much federal funding goes to the roads we drive on, all federal service programs, and to schools and educational programs for our children. 

In the next 30 days, we must all take part in spreading the word about the critical importance of the 2020 Census to our community. 

This Is What You MUST Do:

1) Make a plan to fill out the 2020 Census. Know:

• How you will respond to the Race and Ethnicity questions.
• Who in your house should be counted (clue: everyone).
• How the Census will impact your community. 

2) Take action now and sign our online pledge here, so you can get census updates more frequently and to know when the census goes live.

3) Share this email with family, friends, and colleagues and ask what THEIR plans are, encouraging them to fill out the Yalla, Count Me In! Census pledge.

Your participation in getting out the count for Arab Americans is vital to our community AND our democracy. Yalla, let's make this month count!
