Hi John!
A new, strict voter ID law is now in effect in North Carolina — and with just a few months before municipal elections in the state, voters need to hear from us about the new rules and what kinds of ID they’ll need to cast a ballot that counts!
VoteRiders is hosting a volunteer textbank next Thursday, June 22, at 7pm ET to reach out to North Carolina voters with accurate, up-to-date information about the new voter ID law!

This new law will impact all voters. Newly registered voters will need to be sure they have an acceptable form of ID if they plan to cast their first ballot. And North Carolinians who have been voting for decades without having to show ID will need to learn about the new rules if they plan to keep voting. It’s up to us to make sure they have the information they need.
Textbanking is fun and easy! If you’ve never done it before, our volunteer team will train you on everything you need to know to use our texting tool and deliver accurate ID information.
We hope to (virtually!) see you there! Sign up for our textbank on Thursday, June 22, at 7pm ET!

Thanks for your help! It’s critical we reach as many North Carolinians as we can before voting for local elections begins in the fall.

P.S. Can’t make it but still want to help? Chip in $5 or more to support the textbank! It will cost VoteRiders around $2,000 to send 100,000 texts to North Carolina voters.
