When George Washington led the Continental Army to break the chains of an oppressive government, he had to go to the Continental Congress to ask for funding — on multiple occasions.
Today we’re building the largest army of grassroots volunteers in the nation to do the same: check the power of a tyrannical government and defend our most sacred freedoms.
But this time, we’re not doing it with guns or bullets. We’re going to use the Constitution to save the Constitution.
Nineteen states have already filed the COS Resolution to call for the nation’s first ever Article V convention where the STATES can propose ironclad amendments to place fiscal restraints on Congress, put term limits on federal officials, and bring power back to the states — where it rightfully belongs.
It only takes 34 states to call the convention, which means we need just 15 more to finish the job. North Carolina is next on deck. The NC House has already passed the Resolution, and it’s currently pending for action in the Senate.
But just like George Washington, we simply can’t sustain progress of this magnitude without sufficient funding.
