June is National Homeownership Month, and Consumer Action wants you to know about a free webinar being presented by credit-scoring company FICO on Tuesday, June 20, called “Homeownership Credit Empowerment.”

Understanding credit scores and how to improve them is a key step toward homeownership. This one-hour webinar will teach you all about FICO credit scores (the most widely used score by mortgage lenders), including myths and facts about the scores, and how to build and protect your credit.

As a webinar attendee, you’ll also have access to your free FICO score and free one-on-one credit and financial counseling from accredited nonprofit counselors.
