Our Momentum Keeps Building

Wednesday was our biggest crowd yet!

We had over 150 supporters attend our fundraiser on Wednesday night. The street was packed and guests were seated in every corner of the residence. Thank you so much to the Zakaria family for their amazing hospitality.

Folks came from all over the district to break bread, be amongst friends, and learn about what we can accomplish together. We’re changing politics for good in this district by listening to the people, not big money.

We need to clean up our politics.

Let’s face it, politics in this country is dirty. Dirty money works to get corrupt politicians and the billionaires rich. Meanwhile, everyday folks and small business owners have to work harder to get less because those same corrupt politicians give benefit their billion dollar lobby donors.

This campaign is different. I refuse to be bought and I’m rejecting all lobbyist and special interest money and relying solely on individual donations from real supporters. Follow the link below to watch our latest video about cleaning up our politics.

We had a blast in Sugar Land!

We had an event in Sugar Land on Tuesday hosted by some of my very good friends. One of my favorite things in the world is spending quality time with quality people and coming together to do something meaningful. This event was all that, plus some amazing food and some of the best chai I’ve ever had.

Thank you so much to Salman Razzaqi, Pervez Sultan, Sami Ahmed, Nadeem Malik, Faisal Fareed, and everyone who came together and made me feel so welcome.

The reception on Tuesday was electric. Folks were excited, engaged, and ready to take back this district for the people. It was a firm reminder that despite the power big money holds, nothing is more powerful than a passionate community.

Our next event is this Saturday!

Come to Katy this Saturday at 3 PM for our third fundraiser in June. I can’t wait to tell you about all the hard work my team and I are doing to defeat big lobbyists. We’re changing politics in this city.

It’s getting hotter outside and we’re bringing the heat everywhere else!

With your help, I will be the first Asian American ever elected to U.S. Congress from Texas. Not to mention the youngest sitting member of the Congressional delegation from Texas. As I always say, politics is not a spectator sport. It will take all of the communities in the district coming together to make this happen.

See you this Saturday!
