Dear supporter,

As summer begins, many are taking to the outdoors to enjoy the sun, socialize and stay active – so why not join us at our upcoming events, where you can do all of the above while also fighting for tribal and Indigenous peoples' rights!

Begin your London Marathon preparation this summer

The TCS London Marathon 2023 concluded just two months ago, but we’re already busy planning ahead. The London Marathon is one of the largest charity events in the world, and this year our runners raised an average of £1,800 each.

Thinking of joining the team next year? If you wanted to participate in this year’s marathon but missed out during the ballot, fill in our application form!

Say hi 👋 to us at the Glastonbury Festival

From 21 to 25 June, Survival International will be heading to Glastonbury. If you’re attending, come find us in the Tipi Field for a chat as we show our Tribal Voice videos, put on film screenings, and help people get to know our work. We’re excited to be part of this huge gathering and hope to see some of you there.

Move for Survival

Move for Survival 2023 has now ended, and we couldn’t be prouder of our supporters: over 120 people took part in the event, raising vital funds for Indigenous rights. We were so pleased to see people from Ethiopia to New Zealand to Colombia take part, showing just how international our community is. If you couldn’t make it but still want to donate to our fundraisers, you can pick out any that appeal to you here!

Cost of Living and Giving Crises

In the charity world, the cost of living crisis has become the cost of giving crisis – over 55% of the British public now say they find it difficult to donate.

Survival has long had a unique funding model where we refuse all government funding in order to maintain our independent voice. We won’t change our approach, but our reliance on individual supporters means we have our work cut out for us over the coming months and years.

Whether by fundraising during events or donating directly, your support during this challenging time means we can continue to make a meaningful difference to the lives of Indigenous people all over the world. You’re behind everything we do, thank you so much.

With gratitude,

Simonas Bartulis
