I voted no on the state budget yesterday because it's bullsh*t. It hurts millions of Ohioans. Instead of investing in our schools, our healthcare, and our communities, this budget cuts funding for all of these essential services.

Here are just a few ways this budget hurts Ohioans:

• It cuts $1.5 billion from public schools, leading to larger class sizes, fewer electives, and less support for students with disabilities.
• It cuts $400 million from higher education, making it harder to afford college.
• It cuts $100 million from workers' rights, making it easier for employers to exploit their employees.
• It cuts $50 million from healthcare, making more difficult for people to access care.
• It cuts $20 million from housing access, making it harder to find affordable housing.

This budget is a betrayal of the people of Ohio, and it's why every Democrat voted no.  It is time for us to stand up and say enough is enough.
