John,
The American people should be confident that our judges are held to the
highest standards. That's why last week, Pramila and Sen. Elizabeth Warren
banded together to reintroduce the bicameral Judicial Ethics and
Anti-Corruption Act.
This piece of legislation would work to strengthen our nation's judicial
ethics laws, impose an enforceable code of conduct on the Supreme Court,
and ban federal judges from owning individual stocks.
It's simple, John:
A system without basic ethics is a corrupt system. And the Judicial Ethics
and Anti-Corruption Act will spearhead efforts to restore trust in the
Supreme Court for generations to come. [ [link removed] ]If you stand with Pramila,

Public trust in the Supreme Court is at record lows, and it's not
difficult to understand why. Our country's highest Court has been plagued
by scandal after scandal, and we can no longer stand by as judges and
justices take advantage of their positions to build wealth and power — all
at the expense of our country. Take a look at Clarence Thomas, who was
just outed for accepting grandiose gifts and extravagant trips by a major
GOP billionaire donor.
We deserve an impartial Court that will not lean towards special interests
and personal agendas. No one is above the law, not even a Supreme Court
Justice.
It's time to enforce checks and balances to ensure a fair system that
meets the promise of equal justice under the law. And the Judicial Ethics
and Anti-Corruption Act is the first step to ensuring this future. [ [link removed] ]Add

monumental legislation, and help us put an end to corruption in our
democracy once and for all.
