Last week, the Protecting the Right to Organize Act (PRO Act) passed in the House! This sweeping labor reform bill, if it passes in the Senate, will reverse decades of Republican-backed policies meant to crush labor unions.

The bill will cut down on the barriers unions face while organizing and protecting their right to good, safe, family-sustaining jobs.

Workers across the country are embracing collective action, it is time for our laws to catch up.

Here's just some of what the PRO Act would accomplish if it passes in the Senate:

-make it easier for workers to certify unions
-change how employers classify workers
-prevent workers from being denied rights because of immigration status
-eliminate so-called right-to-work laws

It's time for us to reexamine the country’s decades-old labor laws.
