BREAKING: House GOP Attacks Safety Measures

Help SEEC PAC fight back against McCarthy’s anti-climate culture war [[link removed]]

John,

Kevin McCarthy has made his next move against environmental and safety regulations. This time, he’s taken aim at… gas stoves?!

That’s right, instead of focusing on passing bills that keep Americans safe or stop the impending threats from climate change, Speaker McCarthy is wasting Congress’ time on passing bills to stop any future Department of Energy or Consumer Product Safety Commission regulations on gas stoves.

Why? Because anti-climate Republicans are trying to make gas stoves into the newest touchstone of their “culture wars” at the expense of American family wallets. The purpose of these regulations is to make sure gas stoves are as energy efficient as possible (read: lower energy costs!) and don’t pose harmful health impacts.

STOP MCCARTHY [[link removed]]John, this is a very dangerous example of what Kevin McCarthy’s priorities are. McCarthy is more concerned about riling up his base with anti-climate and safety propaganda than creating impactful legislation. Our SEEC Members are done with him playing games with our nation and our climate. Donate today to help us elect more SEEC Members in 2024 and end McCarthy’s lack of leadership. [[link removed]]
