The Inflation Reduction Act is monumental for many reasons. This landmark law fights climate change, invests in our communities, and tackles the rising costs of prescription drugs.
But now, a Big Pharma company is already suing to try to stop prices from being lowered. They’re more concerned about their bottom line than ensuring that people get the medicine they need.
The fact that many people have to choose between paying for lifesaving medication and keeping a roof over their heads is a disgrace. We pay three times as much as what people in other countries pay for medication.
