John,

The Democratic PA House majority has had a busy week ahead of the upcoming budget deadline. They made huge progress on raising the Commonwealth’s minimum wage, reducing taxes for the working class, and helping parents pay for the child care they need in order to work.

When we say vote your values, we mean it. This week’s progress is a reminder that policies affect real Pennsylvanians all across the Commonwealth. A few thousand votes could mean life-changing policies for millions.

This is especially true within the communities we center.

While the PA GOP takes dramatic, meaningless stands on plastic straws and changing government agency names, the Democratic PA House Majority is working to change lives. Can you chip in $10 today to help us continue registering voters, centering Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth, to elect a FULL legislature that puts the people first?

Pennsylvania’s voters spoke loud and clear in 2022 – and they said it’s time for real progress in the Commonwealth. They voted for Governor Shapiro by a margin of almost fifteen points, and they broke through the State House’s gerrymandered districts to elect a Democratic majority.

The people of Pennsylvania want and deserve this week’s progress, and so much more. We know, given more time, investment, and support, they will continue to reshape Pennsylvania’s government step by step into one that will deliver it.

With your help, we will be with them every step of the way. Will you donate $10 right now to help us expand the electorate and help us win the progress we need?

In solidarity,

Team NPP

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in underrepresented immigrant communities and communities of color. We register communities to vote, provide civic education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize Pennsylvanians to vote in every election.
