“What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” is one of those genius marketing slogans — certainly catchy, but probably best taken with a grain of salt!

When it comes to politics, though, it’s just plain wrong. What happens here in Las Vegas come Election Day will certainly have consequences far beyond Nevada’s borders.

I’ll explain further in just a moment, but first, I have to ask: Will you chip in $25 toward our critical, $10,000 FEC End-of-Quarter goal and help us prepare for the battle ahead?

So, what will happen if Democrats fail to invest and prepare for the coming right-wing storm?

TIME Magazine put it simply:

“...Nevada could revert to where it was politically for decades pre-Obama: reliably red in presidential contests. It could also give Republicans a shot at a Senate majority.”

In other words, we have a duty to ourselves — and all Americans — to put up a damn good fight to keep Nevada blue.

NV-03 is the most competitive Congressional district in Nevada by a long shot. So if we can shore up our grassroots support and build a winning campaign here, we’ll be in a much stronger position to keep the White House and Senate in Democratic hands.

That all begins with resources and early investments. Our End-of-Quarter deadline in just two weeks will be a key opportunity to prove that Democrats are prepared to battle for the Battle-Born State. So, will you rush $25 right away to help us reach our $10,000 goal?
