Hi there,
Thank you so much to everyone who joined us last Saturday for Pride -- it was so much fun to march with you all! You can see photos from the parade here.
This weekend, if you haven't already, make sure to submit your feedback on the Better Bus Network Redesign (comments close this Sunday) and to share our Engagement and Policy fall internship opportunities. Having been an Engagement Intern myself, I can honestly say I have learned and grown so much during my time at GGWash. If you have any interest in the nonprofit sector and/or urban planning, I highly recommend you apply. We would love to have you!
Oh, and also, don't forget to check out some of our other exciting upcoming events and ways to get involved: |

Happy hour at Solace in Navy Yard Thursday, June 22, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Need an excuse to enjoy the summertime sunshine before it gets too humid and all the mosquitoes come out? Join us at Solace in Navy Yard for an outdoor happy hour with waterfront views. You'll *also* get the chance to meet other people who share a vision of a region that isn't car-dependent and has abundant and affordable housing. Ward 1.5 Meetup
Sunday, June 25, 3:00 - 5:00 pm
Civic engagement can be both rewarding and frustrating, but it should never be lonely. If you're looking to connect with others -- especially in Wards 1 and 2 -- who think neighbors are nicer than neighborhood character and that cities should be for people, not for cars, join us at the Grand Duchess for this month's meet-up. Sign up to receive updates.
