John,

I wanted to reach out with an update on the campaign, and ask for some support as we move forward during this exciting time.

We’re celebrating PRIDE all month here at the Roth campaign. I’m traveling the district, speaking at events, and connecting with folks who are ready for more diverse representation.

I’m proud to be running for Congress as a single, gay dad to two amazing sons, and nothing gets me more energized than sharing my story and my vision with the communities I hope to represent.

We need to ramp things up across the campaign heading into Summer. Can you pitch in to help us do that?

I’ve said it before – it’s important that our campaign kicked off so early. It’s the money we raise now that makes the biggest difference in determining just what kind of campaign we get to run.

I know the kind I’m hoping to run.

It looks like crisscrossing the district and spending every day talking to voters. It looks like a committed team of volunteers with yard signs in hand. It looks like sharing my story with everyone who wants to hear it – online, on TV, in mailboxes, and in person.

It’s no secret that mounting a competitive campaign against an entrenched GOP incumbent requires adequate funding.

Right now, we’re $1,707 short of what we need to raise by midnight tomorrow to stay on track with our June goal.
