Together School Nurses Are Stronger
NASN membership supports connections and helps school nurses stay current and find strength in their community. And we support one another, lean on one another, and look to one another in times of need, like during the COVID-19 pandemic. A study done in March 2022 in collaboration between the CDC, the NASN, and the National Association of State School Nurse Consultants revealed an alarming prevalence of mental health issues that warrants further understanding about what we as school nurses can do to facilitate resiliency in each other. Access this Journal of School Nursing open-access research article to learn more about the study findings.
