This year, Virginia Republicans introduced a dozen dangerous anti-LGBTQ+ bills, including a horrific measure requiring school personnel to out trans students to their parents. Not a single one made it to Governor Glenn Youngkin’s desk, thanks to fierce opposition by Democrats in the Virginia Senate.
But here’s the thing: every single one of Virginia’s state legislative seats is up for grabs this year. And we know Glenn Youngkin is already using his war chest to boost anti-LGBTQ candidates and attempt to gain full right-wing control of the state.
If elected, our endorsed candidates will serve as the last line of defense against the homophobic and transphobic policies Youngkin is trying to pass. Can you pitch in to make sure we can support our candidates, grow our progressive power in VA, and defend LGBTQ+ rights?
