Hosting on a Holy Land Trip - Virtual Info Session

Grants for Deaf Awareness Ministries

The Deaf & Hard of Hearing Ministries Committee (DHM), a partner of Global Ministries, is offering $500 micro-grants for United Methodist churches and ministries that encourage them to celebrate Deaf Awareness. September is Deaf Awareness Month. Some ways to celebrate or recognize Deaf awareness is a church can host a picnic, host a celebratory breakfast or lunch with signed songs, plan a Deaf Awareness Sunday service, hire an interpreter & promote it, go on an outing to a Deaf cultural event, host a sign language class - really just about anything you can think of to celebrate and recognize Deaf awareness. Here is the application and some ideas to get you approved so you can plan your Deaf Awareness event or service. The deadline is June 30.
