Friend, did you know California is one of the top oil producing states in the country?
Corporate polluters are powerful and entrenched in our politics. 63% of state legislators take oil money, including over half of Democrats!
But you know what? EnviroVoters and the environmental justice community keep winning anyway!
2022 was a monster year of climate action, with billions in climate funding and landmark legislation phasing out single-use plastics, banning oil and gas drilling near schools and homes, and reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. And despite being outspent MASSIVELY, our win rate against Big Oil in tough elections was 70%.
It’s not easy taking on some of the most powerful players on a global scale as a small nonprofit; we can’t underestimate what we're up against. While we have the solutions to solve the climate crisis, we’re facing millions from corporate polluters and complacency from far too many elected officials.
I'm confident we will win this fight, friend, but we need your help. Please make a donation today to allow EnviroVoters to continue to provide critical climate leadership in California that’s delivering big-time results reverberating all across the country >> [link removed]
Big Oil won’t stop. We can’t either. Thanks for being with us.
