We need more leaders who will work to pass gun legislation that protects us.
President Biden is calling for an end to the gun violence epidemic through legislative action, and we couldn’t agree more. Dem AGs are proud partners of the Biden-Harris Administration in the fight to pass gun safety reforms in states across the country. Help us elect more Dem AGs who will work to end this epidemic of mass shootings — make a donation right now.
Friend,
President Biden is taking essential action by calling for an end to America’s gun violence epidemic. In his remarks, the President said, “We can't end this epidemic until Congress has some common-sense gun safety laws to keep weapons of war off our streets and out of the hands of dangerous people. Until states do the same thing, how many more parents will live their worst nightmare before we stand up for gun lobbying?"
We couldn’t agree more with President Biden, friend. Action needs to be taken at the state level to stop future tragedies — that’s why Dem AGs are standing up to the gun lobby and fighting for gun safety measures to protect our communities.
Dem AGs aren’t just offering empty promises. They are pushing for common-sense gun safety measures that will save lives throughout the nation:
Colorado AG Phil Weiser is leading the charge to expand on existing red flag laws in Colorado.
Oregon AG Ellen Rosenblum has fought for common sense measures like raising the age to buy semi-automatic rifles and handguns and banning the sale of ghost guns.
North Carolina AG Josh Stein is actively pushing for background checks and safe storage of firearms.
Washington AG Bob Ferguson led the passage of an assault weapons ban in his home state after pushing the bill for six years.
New York AG Tish James hosted a community gun buyback to help keep New Yorkers safe — her efforts have removed over 7,000 guns from the streets.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and we can't stop now – will you chip in today?
