This legislative session, lawmakers did little to tackle the everyday problems that millions of Texas families are dealing with.

Instead, they prioritized increasing the presence of guns in our schools, making hateful attacks on our state’s immigrant communities and the LGBTQ+ community, and killing a bill that would have raised teacher pay and increased school funding across the state.
