Maternal Health Can Change a Child’s Future! Start Early’s 2023 Annual Luncheon Last month, we hosted our 21st Annual Luncheon at the Hilton Chicago, where we welcomed hundreds of supporters to discuss advancing maternal health equity. Through powerful conversations among experts in the field and parents, we discussed the longstanding inequities in maternal health care for women of color and the crucial need to drive change, and we spotlighted solutions that are making a difference today.
We are grateful for the incredible support and generosity of our donors and event sponsors who helped us raise $1.15 million. Every dollar raised helps our young families and sets the stage for them to thrive.

Help All Children Thrive Each year, more than 1 million children enter kindergarten unprepared to learn. Research overwhelmingly finds that the first five years of life are the most important when it comes to setting the foundation for a lifetime of learning and success. This is a critical window to change a child’s future.
A monthly gift is the best way to help young children living in under-resourced communities enter kindergarten ready to thrive.
