John, since
Trump’s indictment, right-wing bad actors from Sean Hannity to Stephen
Miller have doubled down on Trump’s bogus claim that he is the target of a
political witch hunt.

Last night, Tucker Carlson weighed in. On his new Twitter show, he
presented his own dangerous, baseless conspiracy theory on Trump’s
indictment. He may not be on Fox News anymore, but incredibly, his show
still reached millions of people in just a few short hours.

Right-wing bad actors like Tucker are working day and night to undermine
our justice system and help Trump become President again. That makes
Courier’s work to correct the record more important than ever — especially
in battleground states that will decide the 2024 election.

[ [link removed] ]Will you chip in $5 now so our newsrooms across eight
battleground states have the resources to stop right-wing disinformation
campaigns at their source?

At Courier Newsroom, we know the best antidote to bad information is the
truth. That’s why our newsrooms take on right-wing propaganda in the same
online spaces where it spreads.

For our Florida-based newsroom, Floricua, that means covering Trump’s
arraignment in Miami by reporting the key facts of his indictment:

In a key swing state, the Floricua team is delivering fact-based news
pieces and social posts that are critical to neutralizing Trump’s
misinformation campaign and ensuring voters keep their trust in the
justice system.

But providing trustworthy local news coverage takes resources, and none of
the work we do would be possible without the support of people like you.

[ [link removed] ]So John,
can we count on you to chip in $5 so we can bring
trustworthy news coverage to the communities that need it most?
