The GOP is still lining up behind Donald Trump to defend him— even after his recent indictment laid out evidence of a brazen attempt to obstruct justice.

We need leaders we can trust to defend the rule of law. But instead of making it clear that no one — including Donald Trump — is above the law, Republican leadership is speaking out in support of Trump’s lies.

Republicans have hitched their wagons to Trump, and they’re not letting go anytime soon. In 2024, he’ll be backed by MAGA Republicans in Congress, and his devoted base is willing to do anything to help him win.

We have to start now to build up the Democratic strength we need to defend the Senate, hold MAGA Republicans in Congress accountable, and keep Donald Trump out of the White House.
