John,
Are you interested in labor union culture and building community? Join our second meeting of the Arizona AFL-CIO Labor Book Club! Our goal is to explore the history, impact, and ongoing struggle of the labor movement. This is an open community event, inviting union members, potential members, and anyone interested in the labor movement to come together and discuss books that highlight the lives of workers and the many facets of unionized labor.
Join us on June 29th at 6 p.m. via Zoom for a fun and engaging conversation regarding this month's book, RADIUM GIRLS by Author Kate Moore, and also vote on July's book of the month. This is an opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about labor union culture and building community. All are welcome, so bring your coworkers, friends, family members, and neighbors!
Don't miss out on the fun; we will be announcing our "Labor Reader of the Month," who will be prized with a hardcover book!
WHEN: June 29th, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
