Over the past 26 years, Equality Federation has been on the frontlines of the movement for LGBTQ+ advocacy and equality. We have been a part of soaring victories and endured challenging setbacks, including long fights toward progress regarding nondiscrimination protections, relationship recognition, transgender rights, HIV decriminalization, and more.
We’re honored to be in this fight alongside our partners – and you – but know we must stop to find and celebrate joy during these challenging times. I know 2023 has been more challenging than last year by far: State-level anti-LGBTQ+ legislation has surged more cruelly than ever, underlining a critical need for the capacity-building and movement-coordination that Equality Federation brings to amazing state-based LGBTQ+ organizations.
