Action
Next Saturday, June 24, will make one year since the Dobbs decision, ending the constitutionally protected right to abortion access. We have to acknowledge that this, and what followed, was and continues to be devastating for pregnant people, abortion providers, reproductive justice supporters, and all people with the capacity for pregnancy. The decision was wrong, hateful, and will have decades long consequences for our bodily autonomy and the state of our democracy.
As we approach the anniversary, we echo the rallying cry for the decision day a year ago: We are devastated but undeterred.
We will not submit. We will continue to fight. We will hold abortion opponents brutally accountable.
And we will win.
We signed on with the National Women’s Law Center and People for the American Way’s letter urging the Senate to confirm Julie Rikelman to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit as well as the letter in support of Nancy Abudu’s nomination to the Eleventh Circuit.
